Han Geng is withering away; Losing 4.5kg April 20, 2008

Recently, Han Geng lost 4.5kg and he’s getting skinner by the minute. While everyone sees that picture on the right as hot, I see a man who’s falling out of his clothes. I’ve heard that he’s been working himself to the bone and when SJM started, they’ve been relying on fast food (i.e. McDonald’s and pizza). Don’t they have a nutritionist? If not, I’m sure SM can pull a little money out of his pocket to give his money makers some good food.

But meanwhile, Geng says:

He tells us not to worry about him because he went for a physical with his mother and friend, and they’re healthy. Let’s just hope it stays that way despite all the burgers and pizza.

Leehom Carries the Olympic Torch March 25, 2008

Here’s a video of Leehom in Athens with the Olympic torch. I think his Grandma is present too and she talks a bit. He also tells you about the torch and, of course, his feelings.

Han Geng is an Olympic Torch Bearer March 20, 2008

Super Junior’s Chinese member Hankyung is going to be one of the torch bearers of the 2008 Beijing Olympics. He will be participating in the torch relay that will start on August 6. The Beijing Olympics will be opened on August 8.

According to the Beijing Olympics Organizing Committee, it recognizes Hankyung’s contribution to the cultural exchange between Korea and China and finally made him as a Beijing Olympics torchbearer. Chinese Netizens also think that Hankyung deserves to be a torch bearer because he is on top of Coca Cola’s poll in selecting torch bearers. Coca Cola is one of Beijing Olympics’ official sponsors.

Hankyung will be attending a torchbearer oath taking ceremony on the 24th at 5 pm in Shenzhen, China, which will be recorded and broadcast through CCTV-5 and Guandong TV.

“I’m very happy and honored to be selected as a Beijing Olympic torch bearer. I owe fans their love and support. In the future, I’ll be presenting a better Hankyung,” Hankyung said.

This makes Han Geng the first boyband member to be a torch bearer for the Olympics. I hope I get to see him on TV sometime. Well, all I can say is…woot woot! Congratulations to our favorite Chinese Hallyu figure!

What does Han Geng think about Super Junior China? March 4, 2008

If you have read my previous posts about Super Junior China, you’ll know what I’m talking about. Here’s just a video of Han Geng’s thoughts on additional members with English subtitles.

Basically, he’s not saying how he may truly feel, but rather, he’s just saying what he should say. So don’t get mad at him, he’s just being professional.

I gotta say, he always looks really good on his trips to China. Whoever does his makeup whenever he goes to China deserves a trophy.

Han Geng and Michael Richards: Long Lost Brothers? March 2, 2008

When I saw the new Super Junior pictures from Elle magazine, I automatically looked for Han Geng because, as you know, I’m completely in love with him. The theme of the photoshoot was retro. Geng sported a sort of raw sienna-colored polo (bear with me, I’m relating the color with the paints I use for school haha), a black bowtie, black pants, and this crazy-ass hair-do that left his forehead naked. When I saw this, first I was appalled, then I thought “Hmm, he looks like someone but who?”
